Preparation of Power Transformer with necessary connections for carrying out the Tests. Checks on the Power Transformer for completion of Transformer assembly with the necessary accessories, before Testing. The job involved carrying out Low voltage testing on Power Transformers, such as 1. Voltage Ratio Measurements 2. Winding Resistance measurements 3. Magnetic Balance and excitation current measurements 4. Vector group and phase angle check 5. Insulation Resistance Test (Megger) 6. Capacitance & Tan Delta measurement And on Traction Transformer all Routine and Type Test. Apart from that testing and calibration of Marshaling box and Temperature Indicators, Operation of Motor Generator set for Testing purpose, and maintenance of Testing equipment and switchyard equipment
